Il sound di Dougie rappresenta la quintessenza della grande musica country con venature honky tonk e Southern- country-rock, in un susseguirsi di canzoni up tempo e di ballate ben rifinite ispirate a Marshall Tucker Band, Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Paycheck.

Swina Allen inizierà invece il suo show alle 1:00 pm slt (22:00 italiane).La musica di Swina affonda le sue radici nel blues ma risente anche di influenze rock(Carlos Santana e Weather Report) e jazz(nella chiave moderna di Wayne Shorter e Pastorius): il risultato e’ un sound originale e non riconducibile a uno stile in particolare,fra lo smooth jazz e il chillout, che comprende anche dolci ballate italiane.
Sin dall’inizio della sua carriera in SL Swina ha costantemente eseguito, rigorosamente dal vivo, solo le sue canzoni originali, riscontrando un crescente ed affettuoso sostegno da parte del suo pubblico.Ha sempre creduto nella importanza dei palchi virtuali di Second Life per la promozione e la diffusione della musica indie proveniente da tutto il mondo.

Alle 2:00 pm (23:00 italiane)seguirà il concerto di Djai Skjellerup, un pianista e cantante che scrive canzoni senza tempo e piacevoli da ascoltare.
Uno show di Djai comprende solo pezzi originali cantati rigorosamente dal vivo. Se avete voglia di rock o di dolcezza verrete via dal concerto canticchiando le canzoni che avrete appena ascoltato!Djai è un musicista che crede anche lui molto all'importanza di promuovere la musica nativa di Second Life:con altri musicisti inworld ha infatti scritto alcun pezzi fra cui la celebre "Get It Together" completandone il progetto che ha visto la collaborazione di 13 musicisti SL .

Roberto Tardito nasce a Ivrea il 17 marzo del 1984.
Dall’età di sei anni inizia a studiare pianoforte, e negli anni successivi perfeziona la tecnica chitarristica, già impostata da autodidatta.
L'ascolto appassionato di ogni genere di musica, in questi anni di formazione, aiuta a far si che Roberto inizi a comporre musiche per conto proprio, talvolta rimodellando frammenti di ogni tradizione europea.
Dall'altro lato coltiva l'amore per la letteratura e la poesia. Nascono così le prime canzoni.
Non solo questo, però. Il 2003 è dedicato alla composizione delle musiche per lo spettacolo teatrale "Simone Veil".

ad uno spettacolodecisamente da non perdere e che rappresenta al meglio le grandi potenzialità creative che si manifestano fra i residenti di Second Life.


The Phoenix Embers Showcats è un corpo di ballo virtuale formato da 7 "hot girls", sotto la sapiente guida della loro fondatrice e coreografa Laurina Hawks. Il loro primo spettacolo ha debuttato nel marzo del 2008 e da allora si esbiscono con grande successo su tutti i palchi di Second Life.
Sulle note di una coinvolgente colonna sonora lo spettacolo prende vita e si anima grazie ad alcune ben studiate coreografie arricchite da un sensazionale gioco di luci ed effetti speciali, possibili solo inworld!
Laurina Hawks lavora costantemente su nuove coreografie per arricchire il repertorio delle danzatrici virtuali. Oggi l'insieme è costituito da un nucleo di 7 ballerine affiancato da altrettante sostitute pr per fare fronte ad ogni evenienza, da un light designer e da una costumista.




Il programma presentato da Laurina Hawks è composto da 3 atti, per la durata di circa un'ora.

1) The Phoenix Embers Matrix Show:
dinanzi ad una scenografia che riproduce una megalopoli del futuro le Showcats danzano sulle note della colonna sonora di Matrix e su un mix di altre suggestive musiche : Nightwish, Latin Grooves, DJ Tiesto e composizioni di Rael Wissdorf ("I am..." and "Megacity Blues") sottolinenao i momenti più spettacolari dello spettacolo.

2) The Spanish Embers:

Sulle note di due canzoni di Juno Reactors, "Pistolero" e "Conquistador II" 5 showcats danzano il flamenco ed altre scatenate danze moderne.



3) Gothica

IL Gothica Show è ambientato di fronte ad un oscuro antico castello . Effetti sonori simulano una tempesta in corso delinenando un'atmosfera davvero...sinistra!

Introdotta da un assolo sulle note della versione di Vangelis di "Jerusalem" , le Showcats danzano sulle vibranti note di Emerson, Lake & Palmer, YES, Nightwish e Saga.

Una breve storia sull'essenza della morte e della resurrezione viene recitata da una voce narrante al pubblico che non poytà fare altro che restare senza fiato sino alla sua conclusione!

Il Gothica show è decisamente la coreografia piu' ambiziosa che Laurina Hawks ha preparato sino ad ora .


The Phoenix Embers Showcats are a dancing group, consisting of 7 hot girls, around the founder and choreographer Laurina Hawks. The first gig was in march 2008, with the grand opening show of the Vistano Planetarium.

The stunning soundtrack, brought to life by a well studied dancing set, enriched by a lighshow will make the entire stage act to a memorable event.

The first show of about 10 minutes found so much fans in the audience that the girls decided to move on with the show. Laurina Hawks still works on new sets and choreographies to enhance the repertory of the act.

Today the ensemble is built by a core of 7 dancers, additional second chorus line to guarantee reliability with contracts, now also with a light master, an additional set assistant and a manager: Angie Ling.

Today the entire Showprogam of the Cats consists on 3 different acts:

1) The Phoenix Embers Matrix Show

In front of a megacity motive on the stage wall, the Showcats are dancing on a mix of Matrix Soundtracks, Nightwish, Latin Grooves, DJ Tiesto and compositions of Rael Wissdorf ("I am..." and "Megacity Blues"). This show endures for about 10 Minutes (without Intro and Extro).

2) The Spanish Embers

On a mix of two Juno Reactor tracks, "Pistolero" and "Conquistador II" the showcats perfom several flamencos and modern wild dances. The crew is reduced on 5 Showcats here. This show endures about 7 minutes.

3) Gothica

The Gothica Show is placed in front of a dark set of an old castle. Weather-Soundeffects are casting a sinister atmo. Opened with a soloing over the Vangelis version of "Jerusalem" the cats perform a glorious mix of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, YES, Nightwish and Saga. A brief story about death and resurrection is told which will hold the audience out of breath until the end. The Gothica show is Laurina Hawks' most ambitious choreografy so far. Overall Time: 16 minutes.

All three parts make a program of about one hour.

Ictus ha suonato professionalmente in RL per piu' di 20 anni,ed ha fatto parte di migliaia di band.
Ama il jamming e suona la chitarra, il basso, le tastiere, l'armonica e naturalmente canta.
In realtà ha sempre voluto solo cantare sin da giovanissimo.
Ha suonato nella sua prima band a 12 anni come batterista, a 17 e' diventato il front man di una band da lui fondata ma ben presto, vista la difficoltà di reperire bassisti è ritornato a suonare il basso.
Ictus ha prodotto 3 CD con delle bands, ed uno da solista.
Ed eccolo qui anche in Second Life,a seguire la sua padrona, la musica, fino alla fine del tempo.
La musica che suona da solista si puo' definire "classic" rock, includendo anche alcuni nuovi pezzi che comunque fanno riferimento a questo genere musicale.

thousand bands. I love jamming. I play Guitar, Bass, Keyboard,
Harmonica and sing. I always wanted to just sing since I was 8
years old. I started my first band at 12, as a drummer. At 17 I started a band to be the "front" man and just sing. But they
didn't play the songs I wanted to sing. So I learned guitar, and
had several bands, couldn't find a bass player, so I took over
bass. I have 3 CD's with bands, and one solo. and here I am
following the music master till the end of time. The music I play solo is well I would call it "classic" rock, which includes some newer songs in the classic style.

Quinton ha suonato per 4 anni musica country con la Flaherty Brothers Band, è andato in giro per 12 anni con la jazz/fusion band Still Portrait, infine gli ultimi 5 anni li ha trascorsi con la rock band The Ride, e da ciò si può capire quanta importanza abbia la musica per lui sia dal punto di vista della scrittura che della esecuzione

Nato fra le montagne della West Virginia, Tallan ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra quando aveva 12 anni. Sebbene egli abbia sempre continuato a suonare la chitarra , per molti anni era soprattutto conosciuto come un bassista - passando dal rock al country al jazz per poi ritornare al rock. From the traditional Appalachian mountain music and storytelling of his grandparents and artist such as Woddy Guthrie; to the bluegrass and country music that surrounded him growing up by those such as Doc Watson and Johnny Cash; to the folk and political songs of singer/songwriters like Muddy Waters, Pete Seager, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, David Bromberg and Crosby, Stills & Nash that inspired him in his teens; to the intricate, haunting picking styles of an assortment of artists.

Throw in 4 years performing country with the Flaherty Brothers Band, a 12 year jaunt with the jazz/fusion band Still Portrait, then 5 years with the rock band The Ride, and you begin to understand the depth that is evident in his singing, playing and writing.

Born in the the mountain state old West Virginia, Tallan began playing guitar when he was 12 years old. Though he always continued to play guitar, for most years he was primarily known as a bass player - transitioning from rock to country to jazz back to rock. His first love though was, and is, the guitar and he has returned to it full force when he discovered the virtual world of Second Life and began streaming in live shows as a solo performer.

Tallan's performances take the listener on a wild journey through music and life - traditional mountain songs or folk song may lead to stories about his family's life in the mountains .... rock and country songs often prompt topical social commentaries ... and through out it all, he intersperses his shows with orginal songs that range from lush, instrumental portraits to songs whose verses can be poigant or humorous or sometimes biting depictions of modern life.

He is the keyboardplayer and pianist, he started playing music in 1976. Anto loves to compose electronic music with the computer and multimedia.

Angro suona una chitarra acustica e un'armonica a bocca che accompagnano la sua voce, in un mix di indimenticabili emozioni.

Guidato dall'amore per la musica e la sua chitarra (che suona da quando era nella pancia della mamma) non è stato influenzato da un solo artista, ma da diversi gruppi e cantanti, rimandendo sempre fedele allo stile rock leggero.

Angro Belar began to play the guitar at the age of 14 years. In the same year he bought a CD of Bruce Springsteen, "The Greatest Hits"...and he discovered the wonderful music of this singer. I have been playing the guitar for about 17 years now. In RL I play in a Band called Jazzmanix.... we play very different things from Swing, Funk, Blues to "Rock".

L0riz canta in RL dal 1994. Ha smesso per motivi tecnici perchè il bassista della band ha abbandonato il gruppo determinandone lo scioglimento.

Let's start by saying that even if has been only a few months that I've been strolling around SL, working as a DJ in many clubs (rock, 80's, mixing live disco stuff, taking requests and whatsoever), I started about 2 months ago singing.

I have been singing in RL since 1994. I quit only for "techincal matters" (bass player left and the band stopped to perform).

Picker he 48 anni e suona da quando ne aveva 18. Ha studiato per anni il violino classico prima di iniziare a suonare la chitarra.Ininzialmente suonava essenzialmente rock classic/hard elettrico .Una decina di anni fa ha scoperto il country blues, ragtime, e il fingerstyle Raramente utilizza il plettro ma preferisce usare il pollice e le dita per esprimersi in modo più diretto.
