Lunedi 30 giugno alle ore 1:00 pm slt (22:00 italiane) nella incantevole land di Legenda Antica (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Legenda%20Antica/121/176/33) si assisterà

ad uno spettacolodecisamente da non perdere e che rappresenta al meglio le grandi potenzialità creative che si manifestano fra i residenti di Second Life.


The Phoenix Embers Showcats è un corpo di ballo virtuale formato da 7 "hot girls", sotto la sapiente guida della loro fondatrice e coreografa Laurina Hawks. Il loro primo spettacolo ha debuttato nel marzo del 2008 e da allora si esbiscono con grande successo su tutti i palchi di Second Life.
Sulle note di una coinvolgente colonna sonora lo spettacolo prende vita e si anima grazie ad alcune ben studiate coreografie arricchite da un sensazionale gioco di luci ed effetti speciali, possibili solo inworld!
Laurina Hawks lavora costantemente su nuove coreografie per arricchire il repertorio delle danzatrici virtuali. Oggi l'insieme è costituito da un nucleo di 7 ballerine affiancato da altrettante sostitute pr per fare fronte ad ogni evenienza, da un light designer e da una costumista.




Il programma presentato da Laurina Hawks è composto da 3 atti, per la durata di circa un'ora.

1) The Phoenix Embers Matrix Show:
dinanzi ad una scenografia che riproduce una megalopoli del futuro le Showcats danzano sulle note della colonna sonora di Matrix e su un mix di altre suggestive musiche : Nightwish, Latin Grooves, DJ Tiesto e composizioni di Rael Wissdorf ("I am..." and "Megacity Blues") sottolinenao i momenti più spettacolari dello spettacolo.

2) The Spanish Embers:

Sulle note di due canzoni di Juno Reactors, "Pistolero" e "Conquistador II" 5 showcats danzano il flamenco ed altre scatenate danze moderne.



3) Gothica

IL Gothica Show è ambientato di fronte ad un oscuro antico castello . Effetti sonori simulano una tempesta in corso delinenando un'atmosfera davvero...sinistra!

Introdotta da un assolo sulle note della versione di Vangelis di "Jerusalem" , le Showcats danzano sulle vibranti note di Emerson, Lake & Palmer, YES, Nightwish e Saga.

Una breve storia sull'essenza della morte e della resurrezione viene recitata da una voce narrante al pubblico che non poytà fare altro che restare senza fiato sino alla sua conclusione!

Il Gothica show è decisamente la coreografia piu' ambiziosa che Laurina Hawks ha preparato sino ad ora .


The Phoenix Embers Showcats are a dancing group, consisting of 7 hot girls, around the founder and choreographer Laurina Hawks. The first gig was in march 2008, with the grand opening show of the Vistano Planetarium.

The stunning soundtrack, brought to life by a well studied dancing set, enriched by a lighshow will make the entire stage act to a memorable event.

The first show of about 10 minutes found so much fans in the audience that the girls decided to move on with the show. Laurina Hawks still works on new sets and choreographies to enhance the repertory of the act.

Today the ensemble is built by a core of 7 dancers, additional second chorus line to guarantee reliability with contracts, now also with a light master, an additional set assistant and a manager: Angie Ling.

The Showprogramm 2009

Today the entire Showprogam of the Cats consists on 3 different acts:

1) The Phoenix Embers Matrix Show

In front of a megacity motive on the stage wall, the Showcats are dancing on a mix of Matrix Soundtracks, Nightwish, Latin Grooves, DJ Tiesto and compositions of Rael Wissdorf ("I am..." and "Megacity Blues"). This show endures for about 10 Minutes (without Intro and Extro).

2) The Spanish Embers

On a mix of two Juno Reactor tracks, "Pistolero" and "Conquistador II" the showcats perfom several flamencos and modern wild dances. The crew is reduced on 5 Showcats here. This show endures about 7 minutes.

3) Gothica

The Gothica Show is placed in front of a dark set of an old castle. Weather-Soundeffects are casting a sinister atmo. Opened with a soloing over the Vangelis version of "Jerusalem" the cats perform a glorious mix of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, YES, Nightwish and Saga. A brief story about death and resurrection is told which will hold the audience out of breath until the end. The Gothica show is Laurina Hawks' most ambitious choreografy so far. Overall Time: 16 minutes.

All three parts make a program of about one hour.
